Jacob is a PhD Fellow at the University of Newcastle, Australia. He joined the Nannomaterials group in 2019.
Jacob completed his First Class Honours degree in physics at the University of Otago in New Zealand in 2017, after which he moved over to Newcastle to pursue a PhD in physics in 2019.
His research interests focus on aluminium ion batteries, particularly in coupling aluminium with an earth abundant sulfur cathode and developing a better electrolyte to work in this system.
