Kathryn Schroeder is a PhD student in the Thomas Nann Research Group. She is from Adelaide and completed her BSc (Hons Chemistry) at the University of Adelaide.
She began her PhD study with Thomas Nann at the University of South Australia in Adelaide and relocated to the Victoria University of Wellington with the group at the end of that year.
Previous research has included testing Au nanoclusters for photocatalytic water reduction and graphene quantum dot synthesis for theranostic applications. Her current research focuses on noble metal clusters made with biological macromolecules for medical imaging and therapy applications. Outside of university, she is involved in church and enjoys ceroc dancing.
