Raphael Cedric Diputado recently finished his Bachelor's of Science, majoring in Chemistry and minoring in Cell and Molecular Bioscience at the Victoria University of Wellington and will continue to do a post-graduate study in a Master’s Programme of Drug Discovery and Development also at Victoria University of Wellington under the supervision of Thomas Nann.

His main research interests are in the synthesis of DNA-stabilised silver nanoclusters which have many applications in nanomedicine. He is currently studying the conjugation of these clusters to a DNA-dendrimer structure and how this affects their fluorescent properties, drug delivery and targeting.

Outside of university, he likes to keep fit and play sports such as basketball and volleyball. He enjoys acoustic music and loves playing guitar and piano at his spare time.
